Clearly they have a history together.

Turturro started poking his nose where it didn't belong and they wanted to destroy his credibility.

Word is the bowling alley he frequented in the '90s did NOT Lysol its shoes.

Some groaners in episode 4 like
[Show spoiler]that predictable, unrealistic boxing scene. I also don't like the overwritten dialogue (the recurring lines like, "How's the feet?" and especially the "gift from the gods" scene).

However the final scene was amazing.

I really like the show, but I'm a little surprised at how slowly they're advancing the story.

We're officially half way through the show and we've learned almost nothing about who may have done it.

The focus has mostly been on how the criminal justice system impacts the accused and the people around him.

And maybe that's the point of the show...but still.

Lets' get the ball rolling.

During the scene where Naz recounted his memory of the night in question, there were these creepy, out of focus inserts; this seemed to me like flashbacks to the time that Naz lost between sex and waking up in the kitchen. One shot appeared to be him sneaking up the stairs. Also, I feel like they keep focusing on that deer head in her bedroom for some reason.

I still have to watch episode 4, but after 3 episodes, my feelings are mixed on this show.

To say it's a slow burn is an understatement. It's not that it's boring, it's just these episodes are so long (all over 60 minutes), and almost nothing happens to justify that runtime. You can explain the happenings of each episode with one or two sentences.

I'm also a little let down, because I was under the impression this was about a real life murder case. Similar to The Jinx, or American Crime Story: The People vs OJ Simpson. Was disappointed knowing it's just fictional television.

It's something I'm going to continue to watch, as there will only be 8 episodes, but it's not the most looked forward to show each week.

Episode 5 burned quite a bit faster than the others.

Didn't think Naz would be so quick to embrace the image of a hardened criminal. But I guess it's better than getting napalm thrown in his face all day long.

This show should have been a movie. It feels like they don't have enough material for eight episodes and have to add lots of filler.

That may end up being the rub of the entire show.

Naz gets off the hook for the murder, but is stained forever by the experience of prison.

Wouldn't surprise me if he ends up getting caught committing a crime in the joint and has to stay there for a few years, even after being exonerated for the killing.

...assuming he gets exonerated.

Who is really on this kid's side? Anyone defending him isn't doing it for his sake but for their own advancement.

I would say that Chandra's heart seems to be in the right place.

...she's also smoking hot.

Right now I think the most interesting question is whether Naz is actually innocent.

The most interesting curve ball they could throw in would be the revelation that he really did.

...which they certainly appear to be setting up as a legitimate possibility.

Interested to see a romance between Naz and Omar. lol.

I dont think he did it though, because he would of least had some blood on his clothes. He had nothing.

Good list, though I think it's highly unlikely that the angry customers followed them all through the night just to murder the girl.

You've obviously never tried to get a cab in New York.

My guess is...

[Show spoiler]Nas gets cleared of the murder. However, he's becoming hardened in prison and I feel like he's going to have to do something extremely malicious, maybe even murder, while in prison...and be set free...So he's set free for a crime he didn't commit but excused for a crime he did commit...
