Paramount Transformers: The Last Knight 3D Blu-ray (2017) [Region Free]

Imax just revealed a first look video of Transformers: The Last Knight and they confirmed its being shot in 3D with their Imax 3D camera rig!

The feature details how the Transformers franchise and IMAX have worked together for a decade, and how The Last Knight furthers that partnership with IMAX 3D cameras. Nonetheless, they save showing actual behind-the-scenes shots on The Last Knight set for the last 30 seconds.

While these movies and Michael Bay seem to take a lot of flack from critics, I give the man credit where credit's due for filming in native 3-D in this climate of an ever-increasing trend of cheapo conversions and lazy filmmakers who seem unwilling to even try to learn more about shooting with native 3-D equipment.

I didn't particularly enjoy the second or third Transformers films, however I found the last entry surprisingly enjoyable (it felt a bit more like the first film, which I also enjoyed) and I hope the second trilogy doesn't end up going off the rails like the first one.

Filmed partly in 3D, cool. I can confirm that Prime Focus will also be adding their stereo 3D conversion work to the film also. After part 3, I haven't given these films a chance, but the effects, action, transformations and 3D are always entertaining anyway.

For a second in that preview/behind the scenes footage, I though they were bringing back Shia LeBeouf for some reason after discarding his character with Mark Wahlberg. I'm pretty sure he won't be in it.

I just hope it's shorter than other entries. The 4th movie is 2 hours 37 minutes before the credits begin. Absolutely ridiculous!

Latest rumor is Michael Bay wants to make the Last Knight Transformers 3D more epic in length, aiming towards 3 to 3.5 hours, similar to the Lord of the Rings films. Just joking about that, but I wouldn't be surprised.

Don't encourage him! It's my biggest bugbear with this franchise, they're enjoyable movies but they do not justify their excessive runtimes!

On a second (3D) viewing, "Dark of the Moon" didn't seem as long as I remembered its being. But "Extinction" went on just a bit too long, even for me, as I generally like longer fims.

He will be in this film. The pointless length is one of the reasons why I hated the film.

From the ones I've seen, they spend a lot of time early in the film focused on the lead human, doing every day stuff like going to work, dealing with traffic, trouble at home, etc, instead of just getting to the bulk of the story. It's like the extended director's cut in theaters instead of the theatrical, slimmer cut.

She was interesting in TMNT, though she had a better role in part 1, which some really funny comedy in there regarding her discovery of the Turtles and how her news team didn't believe her.

Heh -- read the plot synopsis. "Interesting" is a good word to use.

For the cost of 3D tickets these days, at least with long runtimes I'm getting my money's worth. I hate buying a 3D tocket and the film barely lasts 90 minutes. Especially if they cut things out to hit the shorter run time.

So Optimus Prime is the
[Show spoiler]Dark Knight from the look of the new trailer, attacking Bumble Bee.
Anthony Hopkins in this one also.

Apart from animated movies and horror movies (which are always short) what 3D movies have been barely or less than 90 minutes? Most blockbuster movies are two plus hours.

After BvS and Civil War I've had enough of heroes fighting each other yet unfortunately Transformers is going down this route too.

I sometimes feel it is a bit much with IMAX ticket prices and expensive blu rays for their documentaries which are barely feature length (over $20 for Voyage of Time and a 45 minute runtime for instance). But personally feel like I'm getting my money's worth and more value out of a good 90 minute movie than a 140+ minute movie which drags at times (which has been a problem with every film in this series, but with AoE it just got ridiculous).
