I would love to see the original cast return but that Josh Whedon is a major question mark. It's doubtful he would agree to return to reboot or continue firefly. The smart thing would be to continue where the events left off from the first season.

However, I think a soft reboot could also work. Continuing the series from where the Serenity movie left off but retconning Wash's death.

It's Joss, not Josh. And, it's Ron Glass, not Ron White.
