Multi-Format (Blu-Ray quality question)

The only instance I can think of is some Disney releases having a 'Disney View' option which adds some 'border art' to the left and right of a 4:3 image rather than just being black.

There are also cases where the initial release contains a Blu-ray, Bonus Features Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Copy and a subsequent reissue containing just the Blu-ray disc from the package.

In most cases I would expect the exact same Blu-ray disc just in a different package.
