So did I miss anything with the NYJ last week while I was gone???

SO happy with the roster purge as it totally needed to be done, but man it's not gonna be until at least 2019 before they can field a half decent team. That being said, my Sundays for the next 2-3 years just got a LOT more relaxing/stress free!

Not sure, but I read they are interested Tyrod Taylor. Hopefully they get some oline help so they can protect the QB next next season with some of that money.

Seems most believe they take Fournette at #6. Not sure I really get that if they're looking long-term. Shelf life for most RB's is extremely short. Especially so if they have a crappy O-line.

I haven't seen an expert mock draft that didn't have Garrett going to Cleveland #1 in ages. He's easily the most talented played in the draft. Barring a big trade he'll go #1 to the Browns. No way will they reach on a QB with the first pick when none are anywhere close to "can't miss."

If Kizer or Watson somehow slipped to #12 I'm sure they'd grab one of them. Mahomes might be there. Mahomes seems the biggest question mark. I've seen him projected anywhere between the #6 pick and early 2nd round.

Well if they definitely want him, I'm sure we would listen to a trade offer.

It was a joke, but rumor has it they're open for business and ready to move out (down) of the #6 spot. They need to stockpile picks as best they can to restock the roster after the mass exodus.

Blount is great but he will be signed somewhere else. He hasn't made much during his career he wants to be paid outside of last year AP hasn't had a bad season. I think pats sign AP but I could be wrong. (It happens).

Peterson hasn't been Peterson since 2014 so it's a big risk, especially at his age and with his injury history. I think the Pats would be better off negotiating with Blount or drafting say, Fournette.

In 2015 he lead the league in yards and TDs. His only had 2 significant injuries the acl and injury from last year. He went almost 5 years between injuries and he would take a discount why not sign him.

I know, I'd just rather have a Fournette or another rookie over someone who's coming off a lost season and in their early 30s. I know Minnesota's horrific offense is a factor but the wheels are starting to come off. For the veteran minimum with incentives built in and also drafting a rookie, I wouldn't say no.

Yeah but those big running backs will be gone by the pats pick. I'd take AD and stick with white and Lewis I mean they are both great passing backs. I mean on O the pats are pretty good maybe add another WR and tight end but overall it's good. I'd rather see pats take a pass rusher.

You're in the same boat we are in trying to get a pass rusher, we're both so far back in the first round the chances of finding a good one are pretty low. The JPPs of the NFL tend to go pretty early.

Not always sometimes they go a little later if they hold the firecracker to long.

FA/trade hopes:

Brandin Cooks/Terrelle Pryor, Dontari Poe, Donta Hightower, Logan Ryan/AJ Bouye.

If we come away with a couple of these guys and have another good draft we'll be in good shape.
