Bomb arrows are your friend.
They're my go-to arrow when I don't feel like dealing with something the game throws at me.

It's funny though when you shoot a Moblin with one, it's catches on fire, still alive, and pissed. Takes 3 bomb arrows to kill one of those suckers.

I noticed reading a walkthrough after I beat him that

[Show spoiler]during the second phase of the battle, he'll create ice blocks and throw them at you. Guy didn't even have a chance to do that with me, I just bombarded him with bomb arrows until he was toast.

Beat the game last week. Ended up really disappointed in the narrative. The ending is a total suck fest. Ah well, still a great game! Now I just wish I had something else to play on the Switch...

Well, I went to Hyrule Castle to try and see Ganon, and I got severely messed up. Perhaps I went about it the wrong way.

I have 15.

You can get a max of 30, but if you want to max out your Stamina then it's 27 hearts.

Plus you can get 15 yellow heart for a total of 45 hearts! That is insane!

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it stops at 30. I haven't seen any videos of people with more than 30.

It caps at 30.


Best place to find Dinraal is near the great skeleton north of Death Mountain. He flies right by a cliff near it for an easy shot.

Hylia Lake is the easiest for Farosh and the north side of the Mount Lanayru is the best for Naydra (around midnight for both of these).

Glide in from the north and climb straight up the more eastern side of the castle rear. You'll run across maybe 2-3 of the stationary guardians and that's about it. Much easier with the Zora armor to climb waterfalls.

I finally beat my first "Major Test of Strength" Shrine, and got the climbing shirt as a reward.



Now who wants to tell me the location of the pants to complete the outfit?

I found a quick way to make rupees last night.

[Show spoiler]Go to Lurelin Village (bottom right of the map) and there's a man there that takes bets on your choice of three treasure chests. Just bet the max and pick a chest. The highest value I've found is 300. Make sure to save your game before every bet, in case you pick the wrong one.

I was a little short of buying a house before I stumbled across this, but later tonight I'll no longer be homeless.

Guardians are pretty easy 1-on-1 with the Master Sword. I just rush them, chop all the legs off and keep whacking. I also tried that rupee betting trick. After 10 attempts and not winning a single time I went back to selling the meat kabobs with 5 prime meats on them. 210-290 rupees each.

So, I made my way to the castle, and got to this one room where I got my ass handed to me by

Try Snow Bowling, it's more fun and you don't have to cheat (I consider the gambling "trick" to be cheating). For each strike, you get 300 rupees. It cost 20 to play, so you end up with 280 rupees each time (provided you get a strike each time).
