We might not get 1st round compensation for Romo but I also said we would not cut him and let a team get him for free. Im all good with him retiring a Cowboy for life! Let teams like Houston & Denver continue with crap QB's while Romo is chilling. Either you pay to get him or live with what you got. We calling all bluffs. Most of yall said we would cut him and not get anything for him. So how about that!!!! Got Em!!

Romo got 5 million to retire and dak will make 540,000 for the year. That's why Dallas hasn't won since the salary cap started.

You mean the 5x champion that takes pay cuts so his team can be competitive every season? Not really sure, but google is your friend.

Bill got that cap on lock down. You wait for that Matt Ryan extension 30 million a year cap hit.

He signs a new extension every couple years they will get that cap hit down.

Best quote I've seen for romo

Romo retiring for career in broadcasting, he will cover only the regular season and plans to not show up for playoffs

At this rate romo will still be on the books when they sign dak to an extension.

If streaming services start to get into live sports it will be really interesting to see how that impacts the market. The only thing that has kept my wife and I from cord cutting is live sports. We can't live without live sports.

And the Cowboys released Romo even though he retired. Not much of a bluff.

Romo shouldn't even be in the HOF discussion. Nothing about his career is worthy of the Hall. He's a 4-time Pro Bowler who never made a first-team All-Pro team. He only has 2 playoff wins. He's 29th in career passing yards, behind players like Kerry Collins, Dave Krieg, and Boomer Esiason. He's 21st in passing touchdowns. The only QBs from the last 30 years in the Hall with fewer passing yards and touchdowns than Romo are Steve Young, Troy Aikman, and Kurt Warner, and all three of them had Super Bowl wins, Super Bowl MVPs, and at least one first-team All-Pro appearance.
