Isn't this technically Sony? I seriously doubt this will be like that hideous spider steelbook from zavvi.

It is a Sony release all the way. Marvel/Buena Vista/Disney has no saying on the Blu-Ray release.

This is the art, it will not be same as any of the European releases.

Nothing confirms this is the final art.

I don't know, if the French release has the same artwork I would bet on it. Best Buy almost always goes with WWA for their steels

Where the hell is the 3D? Literally EVERY 3D MCU film has 3D included in the steelbook. GotGV2 has 4K AND 3D in the same package. So what gives? Is this the result of the goons at Sony meddling with the home release? I've never had to skip on a Marvel steelbook, but of course I'd have to for my favorite superhero. Go ****ing figure. I'm happy for those of you with 4K players and TVs that Marvel finally has the balls to put 4K discs in their releases, but there is no reason that this can't have 3D AND 4K, like the previously mentioned GotGV2.

They're not "meddling." It's a Sony release, plain and simple. Sony distributed it theatrically and the same applies here. So it's however they do it, not how Disney releases the MCU films.

It's not like you don't have options. The European releases all have 3D, and the HMV version has 4K and 3D. If you skip on all of the SM: H SteelBook releases, that's on you.

Yes.....but why is it that the US market almost always seems to neglect including a 3D disc in the steelbook while the rest of the world gets it? It's because they want you to spend another $29.99 to get the 3D release separately.

Last year Sony released a 4K+3D+2D steelbook and a regular blu-ray steelbook for Ghostbusters, so I don't thinks it's out of the question

Too bad they were pop art and ended up being clearanced out. Even at $15 I couldn't pull the trigger on it.

This will be the final artwork, and i am fine with that. I am looking forward to seeing the vulture on the back and having the full artwork be a wrap around which will be neat.

Also, i see the price went up to 34.99. It was 31.99 when i pre-ordered. I know it will fluctuate before release but hopefully it goes back down to 31.99 for those of you pre-ordering at the higher price.

I don't understand why people keep saying this is the final artwork. Any proof?

If you can stomach the price, just suck it up and join the HMV steelbook groupbuy... 3D+4K all the way

If there's not gonna be a non-4k version, this will be my first...

Artwork is OKAY. Back of it might be better haha...I do like Ryan Meinerding though.

Tempted to do it for the comic book, unless a US release comes.
