Yeah they do. normally anywhere from 39.99-49.99 on release. With Amazon, as long as you're using a credit card, you should be safe to preorder now and the price will update on your order when it changes. Also, whenever Best Buy puts it up, they usually start it about $10-15 more than it will be during release week.

Just posting to an update to let you guys know this is the new link to pre-order the season 7 GOT steelbook. I was almost upset when I saw the link provided in this forum indicated the item was no longer available and out of stock but after searching on best buy, I found that is not the case, and the steelbook is still available This is the link:

I should probably also point out that usually, GOT steelbooks do not drop in price and the actual price of it now is what it will probably be upon release. This is most likely due to the fact that you are purchasing more than a movie's worth of content. If you look up the other GOT steelbooks on best buy, then you'll see the prices remain around the $60 dollar range. I may be wrong, but that is what I believe is the case. Good luck to you all!

bestbuy doesn't price match lower do they? I swear if I preorder early and it drops I never get cash back.

Hello Friends, I apologize for my ignorance but I'm new to this site and posting in general. After coming here spec for Season 7 Steelbook news, I'm afraid I just missed the boat for an amazon copy. Did some of you guys actually get to reserve one or was it just a listing saying "coming soon" or something. Thanks and any insight would be great.

Don't worry, you still have plenty of time to get a copy. There hasn't even been an official announcement yet. The listing on amazon was just a place holder.

Good stuff! I just know I waited too long for Seasons 5 and 6 and they turned out to be Best Buy exclusives and SUPER rare, so I was trying to be on top of it this time. Thanks for the update and hope we all get a copy! Cheers!
