Disney isnt really the company to expect depressing endings in, unless its a true story

It's not necessarily a depressing ending since humanity is saved.

I can't comment on these Slumdog Millionaire, Milk, The Wrestler, Frost/Nixon, haven't seen them and I doubt very much I will maybe one day on a SUnday afternoon with a hurricane outside.

Between The Dark Knight & Wall-E, I prefered Wall-E. The Dark Knight was very good but I think Batman Begins was better. I had more fun watching Wall-E.

Wall E was new and original, whereas TDK was not.

I would probably rank Wall-E around 4th or 5th of my favorites of 2008, but there are still a bunch of movies I still want to see from this year too

You just got to admire what PIXAR as been able to achieve in the 20 years they have been around. It's been one success after the other. Other studious are probably wondering how can they do this? The answer is very simple, good stories. It's incredible that you can feel more emotions from a computer created story from PIXAR then most of the real productions of other studios.
