That's the only way I will get it. Otherwise it is useless.

It might just be the overstock Target couldn't get rid off.

But it would be a perfect chance to make it a 4K/w Newest remasrtered BD Disc combo.

But, that would make too much sense.

Could they or even should they attempt a 4K of older movies? Would it make it look better or worse? I don't know enough about the subject, but I'm not sure how an older movie would look with a 4K treatment.

Because traditional film has a significantly higher resolution than the digital format and if scanned and restored at 4K or more can easily benefit from the 4K format even more so than a lot of modern films that are generally finished at only 2 or 3k and the 4K release tends to be an upconvert which is controversial with some people. Highlander was restored and remastered at 4K probably with a future 4K release in mind.

They actually have a 4K trailer of the new restoration on YouTube... And it looks *GORGEOUS* on a 4K TV. Lionsgate may be one of the stronger companies when it comes to catalog titles on 4K, but not so much films before 2000... That seems to be Sony's wheelhouse. Here's hoping that'll change eventually. But I may still grab this steelbook

Missed out on the first release of this so I'll grab it now. If it's not the re-mastered, I can always get that at a later time and swap out the discs.

When it was a Target exclusive in late 2015 it was $14.99 in store. They shouldn't charge more now. Bad decision.
