After seeing the DVDs, I must say that was cleverly intentional. Netflix's attention to detail is amazing.

STRANGER THINGS does not play in X-boxes or PS3's, 4's, etc....it ONLY plays in ATARI systems.

Doesn't play in my VHS combo either. The cassette tape is too darn big!

Went when store opened they only had 10 copies out total
I grabbed mine. Dam first person there and only 10 copies. They probably ran out quickly

That's possible, but also a lot of stores seem to be only putting out a handful of copies and keeping the rest of the stock in the back, and then re-filling the shelf if needed. That's what they were doing at the one I went to, and I'd imagine a similar situation at other stores based on the photos posted in this thread of the allocated space (could differ store-to-store) for this release.

Wynonna Ryder is TERRIBLE in this. I said my first time through the show. Everyone gives a good performance but she's awful.

Despite arriving an hour after opening, they didn't have any copies out on shelves when I got there. But there was a cart next to the new movie shelf which had a couple of boxes in it, and one box was open enough for me to look inside.
I went back later hoping they had put their exclusive Batman vs Two-Face out (they didn't) and they had many copies on the new-movie shelf in the movie department and cashier section.
The Target was clearing out their entire movie section so they're probably revamping the selection. Too bad, I couldn't find much else there that I wanted.

I picked up Strange Things at Walmart to top it all off.

Whoa, didn't know there was a "Strange" Things movie and Eggo Card, may have to check those out. Eggo Card game is at Target right?

It doesn't appear so. If every Target store (1800) in the U.S. got at least 20 copies, that would mean Target printed 36,000 of them. Somehow I don't think they printed this many... but who knows? But if they did, they will be around for years to come. Stranger Things have happened before...

Having the same issue with them not being playable in an Xbox One. I have a feeling it's the Xbox's blu-ray software, it's known to have compatibility problems from time to time.
