Thinking about buying a pull down screen

Well, I could put it in one room and sit about 10-12 feet away. Would that be enough space? Or should I look at a smaller screen?

I am looking for something that I can hang from the ceiling and put up when not in use.

The room with the Toshiba I am thinking would be too small, viewing distance there is probably 8-10 feet.

Any size reccomendations? I'm looking to get as big as possible with thoughts for the future so I can use the screen for a future larger room.
