Along with Bad Lieutenant and King of New York this is prime Ferrara, shot in beautiful B&W. Remembering this film reminds me that I still need to catch Michael Almereyda's indie vampire film Nadja, which came out around the same time and was executive produced by David Lynch; gotta love vampire movies that think outside the box, so to speak.
