The one thing that's bothering me is how Jesus managed to convince Morgan to stop killing in a matter of five minutes, when the guy has been losing his mind for the past two seasons.

It was nice seeing Rick in a happier brighter spirit when he visited Morgan.

He's great in a lot of stuff. Super awesome in Raising Hope. He was funny in Mindy Project as well. He was good on Burn Notice as well.

He was friggin hillarious in Just Before I Go. An overlooked movie.

Loved him in Deadwood too.

That's good. But TWD helped as a lead in. Let's see if those number grow or remain the same next week.

I'd say they will remain steady or go down a bit. Anything with TWD as a lead-in is bound to get better ratings.

I associate him most with playing two different characters on Deadwood.

The only place I watched him previously was Deadwood and The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Finally saw that I can get caught up on seasons 2 and 3 of Fear on Hulu. Guess I'll give that free month a try.

What a great Walking Dead Universe viewing day Sunday was!
TWD S8 season finale was epic, and it lead right into Fear S4. Both shows clicked on all cylinders. Can’t wait to see more in the coming weeks.

Wait, they had to have done a time jump with Maddy, Alicia, Nick, etc. to have them meet up with present-day Morgan. Right?

Anyone looking at getting into the series, is binging 1-3 a good viewing? I gave up on TWD a few years back, as I was getting sick of it being just human on human horror, and not liking anything other than Darryl and Carol. But Fear sounded great to me, but all the talk on it sounded bad in general. But would a sit down and watch 1-3 be enjoyable to a fan of human v zombie and actually covering the apocalypse?

If s4 is jumping forward to TWD timeline, ergo human on human hate, I may pass s4 onwards though.

It was a great idea putting Morgan on FtWD and doing the time jump. It feels like a soft reboot. I haven’t watched the show since early season 2. Just sort of ran out of motivation to watch it. But since it was right after the Walking Dead season finale, I gave it a shot. I plan to watch more of this season. Looks good so far.

It's said that viewers don't need previous knowledge of Fear Season 1-3 to enjoy Season 4. However, I will say it doesn't hurt to catch up on the series to have a better understanding of who's who.

No, I am asking what season 1-3 is like for a solid watch, a interesting story arc, covering the actual apocalypse. As I mentioned I'm not terribly interested in them catching up to the human on human crud that TWD is, where zombies don't even matter anymore. So the time jump for season 4 makes the idea of the series less appealing.

Very much so.
It has its lulls, and possibly one of the most piss ant annoying characters ever, but it is a solid show...S3 was, IMO, one of the better seasons in TWD universe

It does indeed. There's a lot of aspects Fear covers that are absent in TWD. Like water shortage. Which never seemed to be an issue for TWD.

I think another aspect where fear shines over the other show is in how groups/communities interact. the trade of goods, etc. at least for me, these are things that I find interesting. season 3 of fear was a really good watch. I liked aspects of the first 2 seasons, but it seems like everything came together for the prior season. they cut some of the more needless characters, and introduced Troy. he may be the most well conceived character on either show.
[Show spoiler]I felt he was worth redeeming towards the end. his death seemed so lackluster. to just go out that way...after all he had been a part of good and bad.
