Is it the TV who does not support 24P or the movie, or the HDMI cable which the one I got is high speed 10.2Gbps. I was on Costco watching a display movie on DMP-BD35 and a newer model of Vizio, I took the remote and tried to look if it was on 24P, and it was not, and tried to change from off position, I could not. So, it seems to me, that the newer model is not the answer. Any help on this?
I have this Vizio 47" LCD TV. I am using a Sony S350 player connected to my receiver and then to my Vizio using Belkin PureAV HDMI 1.3a cables. I get 24p output from my S350 because the blue 24p LED light comes on. On my player I needed to set 24p output to ON instead of the factory default AUTO. I greatly perfer watching it in 24p instead of 60p. It just looks more realistic. I don't see any judder or motion artifacts. The Vizio 3:2 pull down is smooth and I am very pleased. I suggest you take the Panny 35 back to the dealer and exchange it for a Sony BDP-S350 player. Then you can enjoy movies the way they were meant to seen my friend.
