That's encouraging. However, how do you bring new people into the format when the display equipment is unavailable or prohibitively expensive? I would like to continue supporting the format, Bob, but I can't find an affordable new TV that plays 3D.

I picked up a 2016 55" 4k HDR 3D Sony Bravia from Amaon a month ago that cost me $830. Stellar TV for my viewing environment. Great price, outstanding set. The TVs are out there, just gotta do the work.

Really? I was looking for one around that time, because I wanted to upgrade to 4K for my 3D viewing TV (I own Sony’s 50” 1080p 3D Bravia), but resigned myself to having to purchase a separate 4K TV because there were only sellers outside of Amazon pricing it at $1000 and above.

How’s the clouding on it, by the way? I know a lot of people complain about it. Had mine for 2 years before it showed some noticeable clouding in the bottom center of the screen (only noticeable on a totally black screen). I still may purchase one if it’s the right price, so that I can give mine a rest.
