Will there not be a 2D only steelbook? I would just get the 4K version either way. The 2D would probably just be 1 disc anyways since Marvel/Disney are back to dropping the DVD version from the sets.

I personally would be ok with that art, but there's gonna be people who will complain that expect it to look like the re-releases from this last week.

The artist responsible for the rereleases already informed us that those would be a separate line from BB's exclusive marvel new release steels. I doubt BB would use his art without his knowledge.

I can dig it but for some reason I was hoping for a plain old A to match the metal box for the first and steelbook for the second.

That sounds about right, thanks for confirming. Best Buy has been dead on with the release dates beginning with Ragnarok, BP and now Infinity War.

I actually really don't mind this cover. It looks a little plain but anything with Thanos and the gauntlet will look awesome, especially if it isn't following the style of those awful steelbook re-releases from last week.

Yes I was wondering this as well. I love how they are pulling a WB and dropping their DVD's.

Seeing as the DVD has been removed from the standard Blu-ray/Digital release starting next month with Black Panther, I think we've seen the end of BD/DVD combo for Marvel releases. If they are removing a disc then they should also be taking a bit off of the price, but we all know it never works out that way.

Haven't seen the film yet, but would've preferred something a little more consistent to the previous Avengers steelbooks with the 'A' logo on the front.

If they did that, Thanos could have been the back image. I also think the Gauntlet looks weird with how superimposed it is. Gives it an out of place look with it not actually being connected to Thanos as his image is out of focus and further away in the background.

I was too, but I don't own those (trying to get the zavvi releases) so this doesn't bother me as much.
