Don't hold your breath on that one. Sony distributed Casino Royale for the home video market, and Fox is doing the home video release for Q of S.

If you hated it, then why spend the $$? You must have a collection of every Bond film I'm willing to guess, which is cool if that's your thing.

I didn't like it either, and I'm a Bond fan but that cash will stay in my pocket. The studio didn't earn that home video buck IMO. I don't have a collection of Bond though, just movies that I like.

I'm honestly surprised at how many people seemed to dislike this movie. I did think Casino Royale was a little better, but overall this movie was extremely entertaining. I will definitely pick this one up.

For me, I've never really been into Bond movies. I especially dislike the recent Pierce Brosnan ones. It wasn't until Daniel Craig took the role that I really started to enjoy them.

Brosnan started out good, but his movies became all about the gadgets. thats why when Craig came out with CR, it was like, HOLY CRAP! CR was so unexpected and was a fantastic movie, it was going to be hard to follow up. I liked QS, but it didn't have the same wow factor to it. Definitely picking this one up

Sure it was entertaining, because all it was all action scenes and no story, and thats why I didnt really like it. But I assume the 3rd installment will be FULL of story..at least I hope

the reason it was full of action and no story is because the story was all set up in CR. QS was all about finding the organization and making is peace with Vesper. the next movie should pretty much stand on its own.

I was hoping there would be more information on the organization and what not, maybe I need to see it again I just remember leaving feeling empty.

What about Mr White, I know the final scene which was cut from the film centered around him but the director didn't want the director of the third to have to do a direct sequal. Though I can't see any other way, as they only got rid of Greene and not the organisation quantam. It would be like setting up sky net in the first Terminator film and then just changing it for Terminator 2.

Thank you!! This is what most people who hated it don't understand. QOS wasn't meant to stand on it's own.

With you on the third one. I like Craig as Bond but the script on QoS really hurt this film. Hopefully next time Hollywood might remember that no one is afraid of enviros and they would have never conducted such a plot against a country. Think of all the greenhouse gases those explosions must produce. Not to mention the carbon footprint made private jet transfers of Dominic Greene to random third world countries.

If Hollywood wants to do a Enviro-terror movie, perhaps a plot where they lead legions of hippies, greenies, and college art students to the most terrifying of all places: THE SHOWER!!! (IS THAT SHAMPOO?!?! SOAP?!?! AAAGGHHH!)
Otherwise, fire Paul Haggis and get James on a serious mission full of good drama, suspense, action, and hot babes.

And there were no Bond girls to really speak of, I dont consider the two in the film worthy of it...though I loved the homage to Goldfinger.

But I have come to terms with QoS and this is how I feel: It is Bond becoming the Bond we are all used to and love, and we have to wait for him to become that so of course QoS felt weird and empty
