Individual steels? It would make sense for them to do a trilogy one.

Agreed. Already have the first movie on 4K but I love Reloaded enough to possibly splurge on a Steelbook if the artwork is nice.

But then it's just 4K unless you want stacked discs, and that omits the bonus discs.

Why would it be stacked? It's just three discs like the first Matrix, right?

A trilogy Steelbook? If it's 4K and doesn't have the Blu-rays then sure, only three. If it has the Blu-rays it'd be stacked, and regardless it'd omit the bonus discs.

Oh lol I quoted the wrong post my bad.

It's not like the bonus discs will have anything new. The previous The Ultimate Matrix Collection has been so cheap in the past it would be worth just keeping that collection with all the bonus discs and The Animatrix that a 4K only steel with three discs would just be an expansion of that to create The ULTIMATE Ultimate Matrix Collection.

Yup, agree, will have to be a significant price drop on each for me to pick them up. Doesn't make sense why there wouldn't just be trilogy steelbook though.

As long as the artwork isn't garbage, I am in. Though I REALLY wish Animatrix was a part of this. The Second Renaissance is better than Reloaded and Revolutions.

Glad I waited and did not pick up the first movie until the entire trilogy was available.

Still waiting for a super steelbook of all 3 films together with the Animatrix as an extra and not for $99.

Wouldn't mind some sort of metal + foam Steelbook box like they've done with Harry Potter but for the three Steelbooks, or four if they make a new one for Animatrix too for next year's anniversary.

I would love that, can't find it on the BB site though.

They did the same box in the US two or so years ago with older, lamer Steelbooks but that's the new 4K release coming this November. Amazon Germany has it shipped to the US for $150. It's a worldwide release but I have doubts it'll show up here in the US.

Yeesh, $150 is a bit rich for me considering I've already bought these films 3 times. Going to wait till I can get the box set for about $100, yes I know I'm cheap.

Yeah, it's a bit much but it's what I paid for the UHD set at first yet comes in a considerably nicer package.

I'm getting it to modify all of the Steelbooks to hold each of the bonus discs and for the last two to also hold the 3D discs. I'm going for the complete ultimate set. Nothing can stop me! Except for a damaged spine. That would be bad.

I think that kind of stuff is over-packaging. I like to have individual movies free so I can move them between shelves without making room for that big thing.
