My 46" XBR3 looks outstanding and the best tv hands down that i've seen in person. I guess your problem is with the source or settings.

The 60 inch xbr2 is actually going to be the KDS-R60XBR2, which is a rear projection model, rather than a flat panel model like you have.

And as zombieking said, the original poster's problem most likely lies in the fact that he made a significant increase in screen size and most likely did not move further from the screen to compensate.
