I just watched it tonight for the first time and I agree with you. The 3D in Sword Master is very strong, almost too strong at times. Also benefiting this film is a simple story that’s very well done. Sometimes I find Asian films to be so bat$hit weird or historically convoluted that it’s hard to figure out what’s going on haha. Not so with this movie, maybe because it’s based on the excellent Shaw’s Brothers film Death Duel, but I actually enjoyed following the characters.

I’m working my way through several Asian 3D films that I imported recently and this one is at the top so far. This is definitely one to revisit.

I recently picked this up on eBay for about $16.50 shipped, which was the best deal I'd seen on it. I'm looking forward to checking it out after hearing so many good things.

You won't be disappointed with the fantastic 3D in Sword Master, especially being natively shot in 3D with 3D cameras.
