Ok... that’s weird. Surely the new standalone Blu-ray isn’t the older disc too? This is why I didn’t want to sell my 35th anniversary disc yet.

Great way to celebrate the 40th Anniversary isn't it? Issuing an eleven year old disc that is generally considered inferior, colour wise. And is unarguably inferior condition wise (scratches and hairs are visible etc) to the one issued five years ago and sold out v quickly. ![]() |

According to press materials, the included Blu-ray includes the 7.1 Dolby TrueHD from the remastered release, so this guy could be incorrect.
http://lionsgatepublicity.com/home-e...t/halloween4k/ There is a document which shows specs. |

The packaging is listing the 35th Anniversary edition disc extras Video also is showing the 35th anniversary Blu-ray disc Extras on a UHD disc is rare as most times it's only a trailer and audio commentary Last edited by paulboland; 09-18-2018 at 03:45 PM. |

![]() as mentioned earlier no mention of Atmos now either still mono track and 7.1 are both good anyway wonder if UK and US releases will be the same ? at least UHD getting Dolby Vision HDR upgrade as don't think BD will be any different now either, and may even be older release ![]() ![]() Last edited by OgamiittoMcJ; 09-18-2018 at 09:14 PM. |

oh well I really like the English Dolby True HD 7.1 mix anyways but I'm annoyed no Atmos, as was advertised at first to have Atmos upgrade too already have both previous BD releases, the 35th and older release and all the extras (I don't have US Box release with the lossless mono, as was region locked at the time) so only reason for me to get this is for Dolby Vision/HDR on the UHD/4k I've ordered the US 4k/BD but won't get till December as ordered with some late Nov titles, though I'm not in a rush as not 4k yet anyway |
