But what about when Mr Myers jumps out from behind and makes stabby swishings with his knife? I want the sound to come from behind me, not in front of me.

When my wife pulled this exact stunt on me last night (time of month, and she gets pretty crabby), I distinctly head the knife-swishy sound from behind me, not in front of me.

Stick your speakers behind you, just for those scenes. Move them in-front for the others.

Best Buy will be getting the 4 new Lionsgate titles next week but not by Tuesday. Should be a Wednesday delivery since they are going into new releases the following week for whatever reason.

Hi, all, I'm working on getting this review up, but have gotten several PMs now about this release and so am just confirming the 1080p Blu-ray is (kind of strangely IMHO) the one from 2007, based on our review of that release and the supplements/specs of the one included in the package I was sent. The 4K UHD disc has all the supplements of the 35th Anniversary edition Marty reviewed in 2013. If this has already been addressed, sorry, didn't read through the entire thread.

Worth pointing out the irony of the 2007 disc having the original mono (albeit lossy IIRC) while the new UHD does not.

I'll do the same since used BDs sell for practically nothing these days and I never know if I'll be in a situation some place (at friend's, relative, etc.) where the BD is the only option to watch it. I kept the Predator 2008 BD for the same reason.

Thanks for the heads up. Just ordered one. I'm a bit skeptical that they suddenly got some, seeing that no other online retailer seems to have it, with indicators that it might have been OOP for some time now. Hey everyone...heads up, I was able to grab a copy of this at target. Two of my local stores were showing this in stock on the Target app (I'm in the Milwaukee area). They were not on the floor, but I showed the guy my phone with DPCI number and he grabbed one from the back. Rang up as 14.99 with no problem! Happy hunting!
