I was lucky enough to see James Brown 3 times. What a show, what a performer!

I might say Kiss in 1977.
(Bear in mind I was 8 at the time but still,.. it was a great show.)

Or, Pink Floyd anytime.

By far, the BEST show I've ever seen (repeatedly) was Aerosmith.

Best show i ever seen was tool in their pre warmup tour for 10k days that had like 10 very small venue shows. It was at the Orpheum in boston and at most they had 2,000 to 2,500 seats and was lucky as hell to get tickets. Hands down small venues are the best way to see your favorite band live.
