Earlier this year, a website known as Trusted Reviews posted a massive leak for RDR 2 which detailed features and game modes for the open-world western. The article has since been taken down and they’ve apologized:
“On February 6, 2018, we published an article that was sourced from a confidential corporate document. We should have known this information was confidential and should not have published it. We unreservedly apologise to Take-Two Games and we have undertaken not to repeat such actions again.” The settlement of £1 million has seen Trusted Review paying the money to charities chosen by Take-Two rather than going directly to the gaming giant. It’s currently unknown as to how the information was acquired but if it was stolen or illegitimately acquired, they have grounds to take them to court. Happy to say this is the kind of game that rewards you with time played. I had a much smoother experience last evening. It's an amazing game, Dutch's manipulative cult leader persona is especially great to get into. That drinking mission was bloody brilliant, Arthur's voice actor is hilarious man,
Thanks for the answers regarding temps. This game doesn't allow you to kill and rob people with the bandanna on like in red dead one where you won't lose honor? That kind of sucks, I feel a little forced to play as a decent guy to avoid bounties and high prices on guns Last edited by LegacyCosts; 11-01-2018 at 08:54 PM. |

By the way guys, the game does offer Photo Mode but it's really lackluster.
Basically it's through Arthur's camera and it only holds up to 96 photos so you gotta go back everytime and delete photos one by one. Very annoying. |

I'm early in chapter 3 as I spent a lot of time exploring and doing bounties and other side quests in chapter 2.
I'm really loving the game as a newcomer to the series and someone that doesn't like GTA (or at least didn't like 3 and 4). I enjoy the methodical pace as it's just relaxing to play most of the time, the characters are great, the story is solid and seems like it will pick up and it's one of the best looking games I've played. The controls also don't bother me, nor does keeping all the cores full which I though would annoy me. Not really any worse than having to maintain weapons etc. in other games. |

I did read an article saying that if you rob people in an outfit the town has seen you in before they know it's you. They recommended changing out your outfit before going on a robbery/killing spree. It just seems like extra effort to me. Thanks for the info on having to delete them one at a time. I found out about the camera a few days ago but never even thought about deleting them. |

The controls were likely an easy transition for me as I played through the rdr 1 story last month. The controls feel the same as the first except everything feels heavy and more realistic. I kinda love it.

The game has issues with character interactions (like getting brutally attacked by a bear and characters not acknowledging it in the slightest) so it falls from being a mastepierce but nevertheless its fantastic.

lol this. It was so jarring getting mauled revenant style and Arthur and the old guy just laughing it up like ahaha I just got my spine torn out. How was this ignored?

I am loving the game so far but it's definitely a slow paced type of game that feels purposeful if that makes sense. Not to a detriment of pacing which imo is a stupid critique when people can't differentiate open world experiences cater to different styles of gameplay. We don't see people now complain of Dark Souls, Bloodborne etc. being poorly paced. |

Can you fast travel and keep your pelts? I'm way up in the mtns and have a perfect elk pelt, but my camp is way down on the opposite side of the map. I'm wondering if I can go to the nearest ton and fast travel and keep everything.
Also, anyone know where to find beavers, rattlesnakes, and a cow? I'm just focusing on hunting and crafting. I put the story line aside for now. |

Not sure re fast travel but you could always save with pelt on horse, take the train and call horse. If not on it reload and use the galop and cinematic camera trick to auto travel. |
