I don’t get how reports are saying it’s at an all time low per barrel but the price of gas is still $3.

The price we pay per litre is a couple cents lower than when a barrel was $100. The price of a barrel is no where near that right now.
I don't get that.

First off, it's not the lowest its ever been, its around $63 a barrel. A year ago, last Nov., it was around $57.

Sounds like we should start buying barrels of gas instead of paying at the pump..

Hmmm my girlfriend sent me links to houses for sale in Lancaster County PA, do you think she's trying to tell me something? Like maybe she's finally ready to settle down?

I just love when my posts get deleted, despite not breaking any rules. So much for an engaging discussion.

Imagine if DVD, Blu-Ray and UHD were at these prices (black Friday) all year round? Then we wouldn't have to worry about the death of Physical Media!

Starting to think that that rearranging the liquor cabinet the past two nights wasn't the best idea for my liver.

My brother needs a new TV so I've been looking up the Black Friday ads to help him find a TV in his price range. A lot of them are already that price right now anyway. Makes me wonder how many people buy expensive big ticket items just because it's in the Black Friday ad and they think they're saving huge.

thinking of switching vehicle insurance companies. my current company is a bit on the high side. so i'm looking at other companies to see how they compare. so far, the 2 i've looked at are about $70 cheaper per month.

plus, my current company really didn't care that i was out of work for a few months and was struggling to send them money every month. each time i explained that i was still unemployed, it was like they didn't care and just wanted their money. i get that insurance companies need/want their money each month, but the people i always talked to that work for my current provider were always *******s and just didn't care.

It's surprising how much you can save on your vehicle insurance when you shop around. I've been quoted as much as £500 per year more from other companies for exactly the same level of cover.

Unfortunately, you'll get very little sympathy from these companies if you happen to fall on hard times. They promise you all sorts to get your custom and then when you need them, they turn a deaf ear.

Most TVs on Black Friday sales are last year’s model and not worth the price. It’s pretty much a sham. But people fall for it year after year.

i went ahead and switched over this morning. saving around $70/month was reason enough for me. i made sure all the dollar totals for collision and comprehension were the same as my previous insurance. so that difference in each monthly payment will make it easier for me and i won't be so strapped for money if i need to buy gas or groceries. previously, i would only be able to buy about half the amount of gas or groceries i needed and would be stressing if i could make it to work every day before my next paycheck.
