I’m sure they said it was going to be global with a rollout in 2020 for everyone else. (maybe 2021 in U.K with Brexit confusion) The UK normally gets shafted though, so don’t hold your breath.

Oh please. When does the Uk ever get "shafted"?

It is you guys that do it to the rest of us.

No movies Anywhere, (no digital locker at all)

No Vudu

No Hulu

No HBO

You guys got all the best DVD labels and even Blu-ray labels.

We have played a huge part in the film industry but you wouldn’t think it.

Like I said in my post, it's most likely the next Signature collection release after Cinderella this summer. Expect it either for this holiday season or at the beginning of the year to coincide with the film's 80th anniversary. This digital+ thing does not mean they are stopping physical sales. The "Captain Marvel exclusive" thing just meant they're not putting it on Netflix like all the other Disney films have been.

No Movies anywhere, no Vudu, no Hulu, no hbo is NOT getting shafted.

You can have a digital locker if you want. Join iTunes or Amazon UK. How many different streaming stores do you need when these two have everything?

All the Hulu and HBO shows have been shown and are available in the UK. If something has not been it is for legal reasons and wouldn’t show on a “HBO UK”.

I don’t know what you mean by disc labels. Ireland gets the exact same as UK.

ITunes is not a digital locker. Nor is Amazon. If those services get pulled, and if Disc dies, we are essentially screwed. By the way ITunes and Amazon do NOT have everything. Far from it.

iTunes is a shop and library that you can access from multiple devices anywhere you can get wifi. Same for Amazon and Netflix.

It is the same thing.

What can you get on Vudu, HBO or Hulu that you can't get on iTunes, Sky, All4,, etc.?

Screwed is when something is hopeless. You are far from it.

Where are you going getting this notion that iTunes or Amazon are going to get pulled? Or that movies on disc will die?

If we are in a situation where iTunes is "dead" then most likely we'll have a to more to worry about than watching a movie - like a zombie outbreak or something.

You are being melodramatic.

Look around you at what is happening. We could easilly have a situation where the likes of Warnermedia, Comcast (Universal) etc.. pull all thei movies from digital stores to use in their own streaming services. It’s already happening with Disney, subscription wise but it could happen if sales dip for Digital HD (very possible). Exclusives are going to be a huge weapon in the subscription wars.

DisneyLife might not have everything but there is a ton of stuff on there. As far as I know it is the only attempt at a Disney streaming service.

And it does have Marvel and Star Wars content.

And it most certainly has had Pixar titles. It where I’ve seen a couple for the first time. Inside Out to name one.
