VUDU confirmed it a bit ago too. Effective today, WB is no longer UV.

But what's the point now? If you have the title before, the UV remains. I guess people still wanted to collect UV titles until they fully shut down in July? I knew this was coming, I doubt any studio will support UV to its last day. All will pull away before then.

I still don't know how to do D2D though, as I do have the discs themselves. I dont have a desktop or laptop with drive...so will need to collect all discs, maybe to go a library...not worth the effort!

It doesn't have to be an internal disc drive; you can use a portable usb connectable drive as well.

What's the point in getting UV and why is it important? You need someone to explain that to you?

Same. The rep yesterday said give it a day, if not, contact them with proof of purchase and they'll help sort it out and put the movie in my MA account. So.... tried doing just that.

The rep today approached it differently because she quickly responded there is an issue with VUDU movies flowing to MA currently and they're trying to figure it out. When I mentioned I had the proof of purchase and was starting to type what yesterday's rep told me to do, this new rep abruptly cut me off to say they weren't aware of these issues yesterday. Then flat out told me to wait until it gets fixed. lol.

It's whatev's. I'm in no rush, I have the Blu-ray, the digital is in my main library (VUDU), so it's not like I can't watch it if I wanted to... but I do have other codes I want to redeem and a few D2D I want to buy, but am hesitant until this gets resolved.

So by the sounds of it, we'll likely be waiting a few more days for this to get resolved.

Nope, don't need anything. UV is dead and has been dying for a while. Getting UV now on new titles is pointless, unless people want to share their titles, or have sub accounts that still redeem codes to get free titles to port into their main account.

When mine doesn't port, I always unlink Vudu and MA, then wait a few outs. Reconnect then logout and back in to both and it's usually fixed.

Not pointless at all. Quite valuable actually. You even name ways that its useful to others. So you either get it or you don't.

No one cares that you don't use UV or that you knew it was coming. We're still over 4 months from UV's closure and expected more time. At least a heads up on a studio removing UV from all these titles.

That old trick wont work unfortunately, neither will having VUDU or MA refresh our accounts on their end. There's a bigger technical issue going on currently between the services that's preventing movie links from communicating with one another.

Edit: It's fixed now. Checked my MA account, appears as it should now. Crimson King, your account should be good now as well. See if your movies ported.

Do you expect these people to support UV up to its last day? No. They have to pay per title, to give each one UV status. If you were a studio, would you want to fork out hundreds or however much it is, just to give a title some type of status for 4 months? I wouldn't. And new titles not getting UV status is not effecting anyone, except those who have sub accounts that redeem extra credits on and want to port movies into their main accounts for free. Old titles that should have had UV status and didn't I can understand, but new ones? Nope. Also, being the studios that decide when they want to stop supporting UV is on the studio, not Vudu. WB can't say stop all new UV status today, and Vudu say, no, we will give it a week. Vudu has to play by their rules. Could WB been nice and offered a warning like Fox? Sure. Did they? No, and nothing is going to fix that. I can assure you that more studios will drop off in the next month or so, probably without a warning.

Also, I never said I didn't use UV, because I did.

Also again, we weren't promised any of these studios would support UV to its last day. We were just told that is the day UV will shut down. Different things there.

Glad you finally got them. The last ports I did were last week and they didn't port, so I just unlinked for a bit and they all came in. Hopefully they will work together to get this fixed for others, but knowing Vudu and MA, and even iTunes to a stint, they can't seem to play well together. LOL

Just got the Mallrats UV code to redeem on MA (didn't seem to work on Vudu) was very surprised!

And a 2008 code from Elf!

I had no issues with my D2D purchases porting into Movies Anywhere, but strangely enough none of the six ported into Google Play.
