Just out of curiousity, what would everyone's BEST dream HDTV be? And what is the biggest HDTV out on the market atm? By that I mean either plasma or LCD.

best tv over all is a 3 chip 1080p DLP FP, they just star around $40,000

i would take any of xbr sonys, but sadly im too poor

My dream TV is sitting right next to me... Sony KD-34XBR960.

For a bigger screen I'd take the upcoming 70" Sony XBR5 SXRD.

all i can tell you is to stay away from Philips. really sweet out of the box then a couple months later they crap out on you then your stuck dealing with their customer service that sucks balls.

consumer reports has the 60XBR2 sxrd based 1080p hdtv scoring the highest rating across all platforms. i own this tv and its awesome. i would also strongly consider checking out the 60a3000 from sony once it becomes available. it has hdmi 1.3 connectivity and outputs at 120hz...
