Looks like Blockbuster's main B&M rival is nearly dead:

Movie Gallery warns it may be out of time

You may know it mostly as Hollywood Video.

That Blu-ray in-store near exclusivity at Blockbuster just might become that much more significant. Blockbuster will probably get most of that business if they are forced to close and liquidate.

Does Hollywood video rent bluray? If they do go out, maybe they will have an inventory sale.

As far as I know, they do not. They hadn't even started getting into the high def arena yet - at least my local HVs.
