The original Scooby Doo Where Are You has been on Prime Video (UK) in HD for at least 2 years and it looks good. It's also 4:3 so I expect the 1.78 ratio is a listing error which fails to mention the video will be 1.33 pillarboxed wthin the 16:9 frame.
Likewise with 5.1 audio. Would prefer the original mono as an option too. I guess with The Addams Family still missing it means the opening credits will still be slightly re-edited. Although this fairly basic type of animation doesn't need the bitrate of a high octane movie, fitting 23 x 43m onto 2 discs seems to be pushing things a bit. |
