Well you never know. If Scream didn't bid enough on 2-3 Hammers Kino might have scooped them up, knowing that Hammer completists would be interested regardless. But it might be that Scream grabbed all 9, who knows?

Hi KLI - I apologize if any have been previously discussed, but are any of these titles in the Kino pipeline:
One of My Wives is Missing (1976)
Vanishing Act (1986)
Murder by Natural Causes (1979)
Prescription: Murder (1968)
Once Upon a Time... When We Were Colored (1995)
Rehearsal for Murder (1982)
Cold Comfort Farm (1995)
Ruggles of Red Gap (1935)
Resurrection (1980)

Thanks for all you do.

And 2 things are the upmost importance; DO ask Universal because they have home video rights now to the post October 1950 Paramount/Famous library while Paramount owns the theatrical rights and negatives. The 3 of you coming together, we can FINALLY see collector's set of the ENTIRE non-Popeye (which is already being taken care of by Warner)/non-Superman Famous Studios library in all it's beautiful restored and remastered glory!

The second, get Jerry Beck, Greg Ford, Mark Arnold and any Paramount animation aficionado on board because if Paramount and you are serious, releasing all the Paramount cartoons is of the upmost importance!

Speaking of Universal, do look into the Walter Lantz and pre-74 Rankin/Bass libraries too (the latter Rick Goldschmidt would LOVE to be involved)!
I know that Paramount and UCLA are working together to some of their cartoon shorts restored. They've done some for the last couple of years, and I bet they'd look fabulous on Blu.

it's a bizarre and incoherent film for sure (typical David Lynch) but it has so many moments of madness, scary stuff, and memorable performances (Robert Blake tops the list) that at the very least--- it's a unique and fascinating film that belongs in any true cinema lovers collection!

I just dug out the old Optimum R2 DVD, which has both the English and French cuts. The English version exhibits exactly the same darker picture and green push that you see on the DVDBeaver caps. As to detail, it's hard to say from a DVD, but since it's plastered with Studio Canal logos everywhere, it looks like the BD is just reflecting the source material and/or what Kino was given by SC.

The Pink Panther Cartoon Collection: Volume 5 (1976-1978)
Will we have a "complete collection" this year, considering there is one more volume to go after this month?

seen better stereoscopic photography, and it's so easy on the eyes one quickly forgets
the glasses.

3-D films from the golden age need a commentary to put them into perspective. This is
the first 3-D film to have a commentary. Our friends at 3-D Film Archive talk about the
technical aspects of 3-D filming on this particular film as well as providing an historical
context. It is important to continue the practice with future 3-D releases. Kudos to
Kino-Lorber for working so well with the 3-D Film Archive. This 3-D blu-ray will end up
as one of the highlights of the year.

If anyone is on the fence about trying a vintage 3-D film, JIVARO 3-D is a good one
to start with. Next to HOUSE OF WAX 3-D, of course.
Jivaro is one of the more entertaining 3D films from the era. Thanks to Kino for releasing it!

Nice. It’s an underrated movie IMO. Huge fan of Tom ever since watching Magum as a kid. I really enjoyed the transfer.

Does StudioCanal have SEANCE ON A WET AFTERNOON? I'd sure love an HD upgrade on the Home Vision DVD, which has really thin and tinny audio.

I dont believe they have the US rights. It appears to be with Criterion.
