Oscar winners leaked?

I highly doubt this is real. For one, I'm not sure if the President of the Oscars knows the winner. I'm pretty sure the only people that know are the accounting firm that counts the ballots. Second, there is no reason this letter would exist. The officers would have no reason to learn the winners in advance. Also, I would think if this letter was real it would not have a generic greeting and would refer to the addressee so if it was leaked they'd know who leaked it.

For those who go to the bathroom during the Reciting of the Rules--
The "President of the Oscars" (sic - so, is he sort of like the Chairman of the Academy? )
A) doesn't know,
B) has no reason whatsoever to mail letters to officers in letter form, since
C) the results are known solely to the voting-tally accountants at Price-Waterhouse, which, if you've ever wondered, is why said results are in sealed envelopes.

Try not to take a bathroom break when they ritually introduce the representative P/W accountant-dweebs during the ceremony THIS year, either.
