I was just able to to do a store pickup on this thing. I don't think I've seen store pickup offered this earlier on preorders, or at least with exclusives.

A little concerned that the employee will actually set aside the steelbook and not just the standard blu-ray copy though. I guess if I do it for lunch time, I might still have a chance to get a different copy if that doesn't work out. We'll see.

8:00am - AND It is ready for Pickup. *fingers crossed*

11:00 - Picked up at the Target (also grabbed myself a drink and some interesting looking Fallout socks). Literally no problem with order pickup, all I did was sign and go. When I was grabbing the drink and the socks, I checked the shelf and there were still 3 there which all looked as good as this one. Easiest DC Animated steelbook pickup at a store ever. This was Westchase in Houston btw.

My store had four when I got there about 12:30 (saw Hobbs & Shaw at the movies across the street it was ok) so I picked one up. Nice they include a Sgt Rock short

Went to store at opening, even tho' I had pre-ordered one that became backordered until 8-11- to 8-20. Ran into a friend that was inspecting the only one from the shelf. Luckily, he was also picking up a pre-ordered store pickup for his buddy, who it turns out ordered 2 copies which were pulled up front, so I ended up getting the third store copy.

Cancelled my preordered copy.
