Of course it would. The data on the discs would be equal and that's good enough.

And Warner has no say, New Line operates independantly from them when it comes to their video releases. That's why they were able to dump the snapper, and why NL has DTS tracks when Warner refuses to.

I really really want P.T. Andersons films: Magnolia, Boogie Nights, and Punch Drunk Love... he is one of the best directors working today...

Yea the Total HD is all but dead at this point I think so we can pretty much count that out. It is definately reassuring to hear that New Line operates with that much idependance from Warner, I would have assumed that was not the case. And yes Boogie Nights would be a sweet release.
