Even though it’s not getting a new transfer (who knows, Arrow’s encode could be better than the MGM) I still wouldn’t call it irrelevant. For other people this might be their first time purchasing Robocop. Current owners will buy it again for the new cut and original audio, and whatever else they think is worth it. It’ll be relevant to somebody.

Don’t know what they’re planning for IB, but if it’s the usual Arrow treatment, same as I said above. I myself probably won’t be buying it.


You can’t always assume that uhd will have something substantial, like PQ. That’s not always the case.

Well what’s wrong with the Arrow versions of those movies now? Waterworld still has excellent PQ, 3 cuts of the movie, and a bunch of extras. What does the uhd version has do with anything?
