Had you waited for the "S360 model with Wi-Fi," you would have been very disappointed: it does not have Wi-Fi. The upcoming model with Wi-Fi is the BDP-S560.

That being said, enjoy your Blu-Ray player... if you kept waiting for every next advancement in technology, you'd never make an electronics purchase.

LOL - I agree, he does.

But he has a point -- if you bought it this week, then yes you perhaps should have waited. If you bought it months ago, and have enjoyed it, then no -- you shouldn't have waited.

Obviously the answer depends on personal preferences. For instance, if you use the 5.1/7.1 analog out on the s550, then waiting would've served no purpose since it appears the s560 doesn't have that.

I second this...he basically stated a fact. I paid $4000 for my 46 Sony XBR 2 when it was first released...much cheaper now However, I have been enjoying my tv for over 2.5 yrs.

The new Sony players are still a few months away and perhaps not out until mid-summer (around the time the S350 was introduced in 2008) by some reports.
