Up for preorder now at Amazon but it's kind of a steep price for a catalog title.

It can basically be classified as anime, and for anime, that's a cheap price. it better be the extended edition though. No way I'm buying it if it's not

and for additional confirmation, that 6/2 date was also mentioned in the weekly DVDsNextGenGaming.com email this week

I bet this will look amazing. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the movie. I thought I might as I am a huge fan of Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. I guess this film will play better for fans of the seventh Final Fantasy game.

I'm so excited for this release.

This was the best looking DvD I had ever seen and I can't even imagine what it is going to look like in Blu.

I've watched my DvD so many times, I don't even need the Subtitles anymore.

Why wouldn't it be the extended version? They already have the English dub with the extended footage all finished and is on the Japanese release

The Japanese extended cut is labeled "Final Fantasy: Advent Children Complete" but I'm hoping it is...
