It has been reviled that the last movie comes out 3/31 so it’s safe to say this set also comes out 3/31. Best Buy has yet to update the listing.

I wasn't disputing that.

You said it was a Disney+ exclusive. It's not

So, who hates that it's being released on 3/31?

It should be 4/1 because this set is a mother****ing joke.

And unfortunately, it’s looking like this set does not have everything when it comes to the supplement material. It’s got a ton, but not everything from the Prequel DVDs is included.

Surely, a lightsaber is more appropriate.
Actually-

Rogue One- Blows up a religious site
IV- Gets blown up
VI- Take 2, same result

Does anyone know if that regular blu-ray set is going to be released in the US? If it is, I think I might just go with that and wait for a price drop or future release for the 4K versions. Anyone who is buying this 4K set and is going to put their discs in different packaging, feel free to hit me up and see if I can take the packaging off your hands!
As soon as it was revealed the individual releases would also come with bonus discs there was never any chance of the 4K set having anything exclusive outside of the packaging, even the letter isn't exclusive to the set anymore and will be included with the regular 18 disc Blu-ray boxset.

I don't know what's crazier. Thinking they can charge THAT MUCH extra for packaging or that you know some people will ACTUALLY PAY IT! I'm out for the 4K. Just wondering if there will be a regular blu ray set in the US or if I should import the one from Amazon UK. I would prefer a domestic set that comes with digital copies but I have Disney plus, so importing is not a dealbreaker.

Does anyone know which Star Wars extras have not been released/announced on DVD, BD, or UHD? Are there any still lingering on VHS or LD that never made the jump?

Man, the plot description for RotS is so bad it looks like a middle schooler who was 5 minutes away from summer vacation wrote it.

As far as the laserdiscs are concerned, you have to look at the big boxed set and the SE boxed set. That's all there is when it comes to bonus features on LD. There's From Star Wars to Jedi, of course, which was also released on laserdisc.

As far as VHS is concerned, I believe there were a few SE releases with Leonard Maltin interviews as well as SE featurettes. Nothing before that, though, unless you count the awesome CBS-FOX preview trailers...which I loved because they came on my very first VHS release in 1987. Got it for Christmas from Santa and freaked.

Meh, really hate the packaging and am digging the UK set. Might just cancel the BB order and go for the UK set. Don't have a 4K TV yet anyway and I doubt they'll look much different.

Holy Shit!

Yeah Star Wars is truly dead to me now. It took a lot of hard work to kill it from George, and now Disney, but they somehow managed to pull it off. Congrats Disney!
