In the Mood for Love by Wong Kar-wai celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2020. And on this occasion, the film will be presented at the next Cannes Film Festival in a newly restored version in 4K.

Cannes Classics, section of the Cannes Festival dedicated to restored old films, will therefore celebrate the 20th anniversary of In the Mood for Love. The 73rd edition of the Cannes Film Festival will be held from May 12 to 23, 2020.

Screenings of this 4K version in French theaters should be held next summer. We obviously cross our fingers for a concomitant release or later in the year for a possible 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray edition.
