Does anyone have access to information that lists dynamic range of BlurRay movies, particular the Marvel, DC Comics, action and scifi genres.

For reference see this Dolby site here. For 24 (2^24) bit audio that means a range of 16,777,216 or 144.5 dB. Just know the thermal noise (at room temp) will limit the actual range to about 100 to 110 dB for practical electronic circuits.

It is also worth noting the TrueHD data rates can exceed those of streaming (audio + video).

Thankyou. These are the theoretical values? I heard that the latest Disney BLuRays are also suffering from the loudness wars so I was hopiing to get actual titles and dynamic range values as a result. Do you know if that even exists?
