Editions like these, most of the times the "deluxe packaging" turns out to be more nuisance than added value. Usually, I'd get them only when much cheaper than the sum of the individual releases (this was not the case). Otherwise, Amaray all the way

I haven't seen all of it yet, but the feature-length documentary on The Rise of Skywalker does have archive footage from the OT woven into it. I haven't seen the clips before, so there's something 'new' for me.

Totally agree. I also went with the set because I felt I had a better chance to get it on time versus each single film from amazon which was getting iffy with shipping issues or whatever else. Save me money too. I got it on release day!

I haven’t read each and every thread or post so have missed the true pedigree of the original trilogy masters, obviously. Because the truth is I’m just not that interested in the SEs or I-III. I stand corrected.

Walmart screwed me over so I went with with the Target exclusive of Rise of Skywalker. Turns out it's nicer than the Walmart version. Felt a sigh of relief anyway since Walmart had in-store pickup only and I really didn't want to put my health in danger for a movie. Also ordered A New Hope 4K. I feel good about not spending $250 on a collection box set.

Seems like that J-card glue stain can’t be avoided as I’ve seen it on every single unboxing video. As Vader says, there is no escape...

Has anyone found a solution to removing it?

Thats what I did. Bought them from DMC, then sold the cases/slips/blus/digitals and came out a little ahead.

Why were these left off? Now this means I need to keep my old set to have these bonus features. Damn it

Various trailers

I've just added a 4K/BD (2020) column to the Collections tab noting which items from that section made it to the newest releases.

Best Buy had the Marvel Steelbook sale several months back for $10-15 a movie but this took a long time to happen. If I were to want the Star Wars movies, I would just buy them as the price isn't going to drop if at all much for a while.

Going through and watching the saga now and I realized that we only see the nipples of Skywalkers. Anakins in the PT, Lukes in the OT, and Kylos in the ST. Is this correct or am I missing some nips?

Just flicked through 4k77 and 4k83 v1.4 and they both blow these "professional" releases out of the water.

Portman's in AOTC's, and Carrie's in TESB. Someone already accused me of being a perv, so what the hell

Yeah but those are covered. I’m talking about completely free and visible nips here. Not something that has to be left to the imagination.

I've been trying to keep up but...my question is: Are the blu-rays that come with set better or worse than the 2011 blu-rays?
