GTA V Coming to PS5

R* are the scummiest leeches currently going. Bet you guys they just sell another PS5 version of GTA V instead of offering a free patch for existing PS4 owners. Also, GTA Online "free" for 3 months only from PS5 launch IF you have a PlayStation Plus membership. Ironically when you need that same membership to actually play the game.

so GTA online will be standalone? I don't get that part of the announcement

I own GTA 5 but I never started it, hopefully they do patch it for free, or at least discounted since they're expanding it (although I highly doubt it)

It's actually just a BS marketing grab. Remember that Sony said you could install/uninstall portions of games like keeping Single Player or Multiplayer or deleting them. This is basically R* shovelling a "free" incentive on the hopes you'll end up spending money on the cards etc.

They've literally milked this to death and because of it they never made any single player DLC for TWO generations. Also, at least for 7 years of the entire PS4 life either.

Considering the PS5 is backwards compatible, lets hope GTAV is one game that works without needing a patch
