Exactly. But of course we all know slasher movies aren't the most original films around, but they could have at least renamed the killer and the movie.

I agree it sucked. One of the things thats makes the original so good is it's lack of back story. I still not sure why he had to come from a white trash background in the remake unless that is all that Zombie knows, just watch his other 2 films...

Look at the Bible....
I take it you have never read the Bible in any version. If you had you would know all versions, King James, New King James, NIV and all other versions are exactly the same except for the words used. There are NO additions or exaggerations in one version compared to another.

If you like Zombies versions of Halloween, then fine that's you opinion, but I seriously doubt it will stand the test of time the way John Carpenters has.

i actually enjoyed robs version of halloween....i dont look at it as a remake per se but on its own basis and thought it was really good. got it on release day on dvd and blu-ray......i cant wait to see the new one and i like that he is taking it and making it more of his own.....i dont understand why people would have a problem with this. i think he does a great job on every movie i have seen of his and i dont think this will be any different

There probably is a reason why he doesn't have his mask either in this film I am guessing. He will probably still have alot of his face covered throughout the film keep in mind as his hard is about 3 feet long lol. Its not like he is walking around like a clean shaven maniac. I always give Zombie's films a chance I did enjoy the "remake" for what it was, and that also means I do not compare it to the original for that is what he did NOT want anyone to do. The only thing that scares me though is if this movie makes bank (which horror movies always do) how long are they going to stretch this franchise out for? I thought Rob was going to do his other projects which must be on hiatus now due to the big check I am sure they are giving Mr. Zombie for doing this movie. Its worth a try and to me his version of Halloween was a lot better than most of this horror (if you can call it that nowadays) junk that is hitting the theaters.

I made a huge mistake in seeing the first one! There's no way I'm making that mistake again. Zombie would have to pay me to see it!

And in Rob Zombie's version of the Bible, Jesus came from a white trash trailer park family.
