Docrossi will be pleased, it's another Criterion that's been circumvented. I've got the Criterion anyway, will see how the colour timing on the UHD ends up before buying.

I'm pleased that another good movie is getting released on UHD. As for Criterion being left in the dust yet again, it only serves as a sad reminder of the innovative leader that Criterion used to be and how far they've fallen from the vanguard. If Criterion would get off their butts and make stuff like this, then I would be pleased.

In fairness to Criterion on this, I wonder if the big studios might actually be hoarding the 4K releases for themselves.

I mean Universal seemed to have no problem giving Shout UHD rights to They Live, Prince of Darkness and Army of Darkness.

So yeah this is definitely Criterion. That being said I'm hanging to my copy of their BD. The remastered Making "Do the Right Thing" is enough reason.

If this has the other Spike Lee commentary, this is an essential compliment to the Criterion release.

Throw in Three Brothers as an extra?

Uni are more than likely just going to use whatever extras that were on the 20th Anniversary Blu.

I agree that’s the most likely situation, but they did add a few new things to Back to the Future at least.
