Only the Final Cut is on 4K.

Apart from language differences on the packaging, are the French and German Special Edition releases identical to the UK release?

I have the digibook blu-ray release, is there a "smart" way to merge that with the UHD release? Like, could I replace certain discs in the digibook with discs from the UHD and not lose special features by doing so? It seems like I could just replace the first disc of the digibook edition (Final Cut of the movie) with the first disc of the UHD set and then keep the rest of the digibook, and I should be good to go. Is that accurate?

Just substitute Disc 1 of the digibook (The Final Cut) for the UHD.

I apologize if this has come up already but I just can't comb thru all the comments. Is the 4K edition with digital copy out of print now? The only versions I see online now are the 4K with blu-ray copy.

Thanks in advance!

I can't say for certain but I'd guess they're the same. I'm in the U.S. but bought the French release - beautiful set and it has everything I wanted.

I recently watched this movie(Theatrical cut) in it's entirety for the first time and I came away with mixed feelings. I really wanted to love this film.

First for the positives. The concept, the world created, and the special effects were amazing.

Now for the negatives. The romance between Rachael and Deckard felt so rushed and forced. There was simply not enough action. But when there was, it was pretty lame. The fight scene left a lot to be desired.

This is a classic to most and I can see why. Great movie overall, but it just lacks a bit for me. On to 2049 soon.

Oh dear. Like many I have read about in the past, you will soon rewatch BR a couple of times and then realise you were utterly wrong and pretend you never said the above...

Lmao. It’s not an action movie. Also not a traditional “romance”.

Blade Runner is one of those movies where you don’t wanna make a final assessment after one viewing!

There’s another cut? How does a cut be theoretical?

I agree. For me, Blade Runner is like The Big Lebowski. I don't find the plots to be too important or even very engaging. I just love spending time in these worlds with their characters.

I didn't want a action movie, but I was looking for a little bit more. For the small amount of action it had they were not well choreographed.

I actually could care less about the romance. But if it has it at least be convincing. I know this movie has a huge fan base so I will never win a debate. I just wanted to share my thoughts.

But again, you seem to not understand the “romance”. And it’s not an action movie so it doesn’t need more action.
