This seems like it'll use the BFI master, but it has all the supplements from the UK Masters of Cinema release.
The US Flicker Alley and UK MoC editions use the same source restoration, but Flicker Alley's (actually Lobster Films) has terrible encoding due to stuffing all the films onto a single BD-50 while Moc spread them out across two BD-50s. BFI's is from a lower quality source as only the Lobster version went back to an original print. Unless you want the Nyman score, this release is kind of redundant if you own the MoC set. |
