Also of course he said thank you as they get a % of every game sold for Xbox. So yeah works out for both companies. |

If I develop for 100 million and I make 420 million in sales a 320 million dollar profit thats good. If I develop for 100 million and I make 840 million a 720 million dollar profit thats better. Thus endith the mathematics lesson on profit Shareholders give 0 ****s about what console its sold on they care about the bottom line this is better for the bottom line. Thus people keep their jobs. |

What's 90% of 100% ... 90%... Its better to make 90% over 0 do the math. If MS makes 1 million Sony makes 9 million... How do you not understand basic math and percentages, do we need to register you again for 6th grade to relearn "mean averages"?

Understand that clearly you don’t understand that they are making their competition money when Microsoft has no money into the game. It’s not a smart move to make a rival money. I’m asking if going on Xbox means more money for PlayStation and if Microsoft doesn’t see Sony as competition then why are they with holding their games from PlayStation. So clearly Sony should be handing all their games over to Microsoft while Microsoft doesn’t do the same. As far as the Bethesda that are exclusive to PlayStation Microsoft has to honor those contracts cause they was in place before they bought them. It’s not like Microsoft is doing it out of the kindness of their hearts they have to do it. 0% is better then getting 90% when Sony is the one fitting the bill for everything.

Also Sony corporate is not footing any bill for The Show, San Diego Studios a subsidiary of Sony interactive entertainment, which is not a direct subsidiary of Sony Corporate is footing said bill. This really is not hard to understand and after 2 years I just dont get how you dont understand this when everyone else on the forums has explained it 17x to you in 3 threads. Does this mean more money for Sony Interactive Entertainment yes it does about 400 million more in profit per year. Does it get reinvested yes it does which in turn invests in PlayStation. Does MS view Sony as a rival and vice versa yes somewhat but not in Hardware sales 2 separate strategies. MS strategy is in subscriptions Sony is in Hardware and software sales. They are no longer rivals in the old sense you think of it as. Last edited by R3P0; 02-04-2021 at 02:19 AM. |

Horizon Zero Dawn, Death Stranding, Detroit are on PC. Sony has also said they're going to be releasing more "exclusives" on PC. idk how this news about "The Show" coming to Xbox is so shocking to you.
