Well, I doubt it this film will be coming out on BD anytime soon, so here's a tiny bit I wrote on it a few years ago -- the true story of a Nazi soldier who after the end of WW2 was sent to the death camps, the GULAGs, in Siberia; he walked back to freedom, 14 000 kilometers, from Camp Dezhnev, the eastern-most point of Russia, to Iran, where he was picked up an flown back to Germany. The film was denied a US entry for obvious reasons.

This is a great movie with a even greater performance by Brad Davis. Interestingly this film seemed to have propelled dir- Alan Paker, scr- Oliver Stone and music- Giorgio Moroder.

You are welcome. This being said, the film was rejected for theatrical distribution, but I believe that a very small label finally picked up the rights (DVD) in 2007. If this comes on BD, do not miss it.
